I am convinced that the people of Bucharest believe in a healthy lifestyle, and running not only keeps you in shape but also helps you leave behind bad thoughts and all the mental tiredness accumulated throughout the day and become much more in control.
Valeria is an Olympic Champion at Los Angeles in 1984 at single sculls and a bronze medallist at the 1980 Moscow Olympics at double sculls.
She also won two bronze medals and two silver medals at the Sculling World Championships in 1979, 1981, 1982 and 1985.
She has participated in over 20 international marathons and semi-marathons.
