Fun race
This race is totally dedicated to health and life appreciation.
It is designed to encourage families and sports lovers to live healthy, to love outdoor sports.
That day will be special, because you are going to run for a noble cause, helping two nongovernament and nonprofit foundations
Hospice "Casa Speranţei" (Hope House) to care for patients suffering from incurable deseases and
ViitorPlus to plant as many trees as possible and heal our living environment.
Running in much better conditions than in an ordinary day, around the second biggest building in the world, you will be part of an extraordinary event.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and a commemorative medal at the end of the race.
The race is open to all runners regardless of gender or age.

General Information
The estimated average temperature on event is 18° Celsius.
Refreshment Stands
The refreshment stands with water and energy drinks can be found every 3.5 kilometres, starting from kilometer 4 to the end of the race. Sponges and water will also be provided for those who want to use them, depending on the temperature on the day of the marathon.
Sport Expo
Participation kits must be collected from the Sport Expo. The exhibition will be in Constitution Square and will open daily from 15
th of October until 17
th of October between 9:00 am and 17:00.
There will be no registration on race day (Sunday, October 17th 2010). There will also be no distribution of kits and chips on race day.

Recording Time
The start number must be properly attached to the chest. All runners who will finish the race, no matter what place they came, will receive the correct final results. Hiring the chip is 60 RON, refundable after the race. The chip is not transferable and can not be rescheduled for another race. It must be fixed on the foot, at the laces of the trainers. At the end of the race, organizers will keep the 60 RON and return it once the runner finishes.
Eligibility
The race is open to all persons aged over 18 years, who have been officially registered. Men and women will have different rankings. Veteran categories comply with international IAAF-AIMS regulations. The races will take place regardless of the weather conditions. Bicycles and other vehicles are strictly prohibited during the race. It is the responsibility of the athletes to be physically prepared for the entire distance. Raiffeisen Bucharest City Marathon is not responsible for any injury or damage caused as a result of participation in this event. First aid points will be present from the beginning to end and along the entire course .The organizing committee has the right to terminate registrations without notification. The registration is final and non-returnable. It is possible to transfer the registration to another person by an official request until 9 October 2009 and by paying a surcharge of 30 RON. The person to whom the registration has been transferred must submit all required registration information.
